We are extremely excited to welcome Kim Ballestrin as a Principal Consultant in our Agile Transformation service line.  Over the years we have come to know Kim very well through our collaboration on two pro-bono projects we are running which are using Cynefin and Complexity approaches.

Kim’s involvement in the agile space is well aligned with two of our founding principals of being community facilitators and thought leaders.

Currently the organiser of the Melbourne Cynefin and Lean Coffee Meetups, Kim regularly presents and runs workshops at leading local and international conferences on the Cynefin Framework, Decision Mapping and Early Idea Feasibility.

Kim has recently spoken at Lean UX in New York and Lean Agile Scotland as well as LAST Conference and Agile Encore. For many years she has been an advisor for Agile Australia and is shepherding three talks for the conference this year.

We are very privileged to have Kim as part of our Elabor8 team.  She brings over 20 years of diverse management (IT) experience, and since 2010 has been an Agile engagement lead in the Telco industry helping one of Australia’s most prominent organisations on their agile change journey.

Kim is an experienced technologist having worked in roles from IT business analyst through to program and delivery centre management. She specialises in Lean, Cynefin, Agile, Systems Thinking, Design Thinking, DevOps and ideas to improve the ways that companies work and deliver value to Customers.

Kim is well known to me and the team as we have been working closely together over the last two years on two not-for-profit/charity projects that are supported by Elabor8.

One of the founding principles of Elabor8 was to be community facilitators and thought leaders, and through her work facilitating both the Melbourne Lean Coffee and the Cynefin Meetup Groups as well as her involvement running workshops and helping curate conferences both locally and internationally Kim really matches this identity.

“Kim brings immense knowledge and expertise and also connections to an international network of thought leaders.   We are very excited to leverage this network to help to stretch our thinking and to grow the capability of our wider team.

Kim’s experience and insights implementing Agile and Complex approaches within one of Australia’s largest and most complex organisations has already been invaluable to our existing clients and is already placing her in high demand.

Welcome aboard Kim.
